To enhance their learning about 'The Normans' our Year 4's had a fantastic visit to Tamworth Castle, where they participated in lots of exciting activities and enjoyed a tour of the castle including climbing to the top of the tower!

West Midlands Young Writers have selected an amazing 29 poems to be published by pupils in Year 4 at Tynsel Parkes. A variety of poetry styles were written including acrostic, shape poems and rhymes. Bikeability 2017 07th Nov
Over the last few weeks Tynsel Parkes pupils have been learning how to ride using balance bikes or their own bikes taught by professional Bikeability instructors. They have had great fun as well as developing better, safer cycling habits.

African Dance & Drumming Workshop 2017 03rd Nov
Year 2 have had a great day participating in the workshop, learning African dance routines and drumming techniques.
They finished with a fantastic performance in front of parents accompanied on the drum by Mahtar Sohnar.

Foundation Stage have been celebrating Diwali doing a variety of activities including
decorating diya lamps, tasting delicious Indian food and practising Indian dance moves.
