Think Team Tynsel

Think Team Tynsel are Tynsel Parkes’ Mental Health and Well-Being Champions.

Years 1-4 have a boy and girl from each class, voted by their peers, to represent and encourage everyone in their wellbeing journey.

Think Team Tynsel meet biweekly (Tuesday lunchtime) to discuss, celebrate and brainstorm how Tynsel Parkes CE Primary Academy can:

  • Promote communicating their feelings and emotions.
  • Encourage wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
  • Raise the profile of wellbeing.
  • Boost awareness of diversity and inclusion.
  • Help direct pupils to staff for wellbeing support.

Additionally, the team develop their skills in many areas, such as communication, presentation, leadership, and social interaction.
