As Principal of Tynsel Parkes CE Primary Academy, I would like to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome on behalf of all our staff, children, and the Local Academy Council.
Tynsel Parkes is a vibrant and nurturing first school for children aged three to nine, situated in the lovely market town of Uttoxeter. Since opening in 1968, we have grown to become a proud part of our community, maintaining strong links with St. Mary’s Church and local families.
Children begin their full-time learning adventure with us in the September after their 4th birthday, but many join our school family even earlier. We are fortunate to have a dedicated Nursery, offering high-quality Early Years provision where children can start from the term after they turn three. These early experiences help lay the foundations for confident, happy learners.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
